| On March 11th, 2023, I took my first photo of a King Fisher that was hanging out in a wetlands right outside my backyard. Ever since then, I always wanted to get a more detailed photo of one diving into the water or flying out of the water. So the following year, on September 12th, 2024, I was given the perfect opportunity and location to capture that, but not without multiple visits and tries to get the right shot early in the morning. That's the sequence shot you see here in this photo I put together. The pond had just enough opening between trees and bushes to capture the fast and unpredictable King Fisher diving down. It was a very exciting and nerveracking moment, trying to capture the right shot at the right time. I'm glad that my patience and persistence paid off. This would make a great piece for bird enthusists, especially for those who love King Fisher birds. | ||
